ImageShelford 1st XV travel to Barnes on Saturday in what promises to be a very exciting fixture if last year's meetings between the two sides are anything to by. Shelford won both games. The home fixture was one of the most exciting matches of the season with Chris Glynn going over in the corner in the last play of the game to snatch victory from the visitors. Barnes will therefore be looking for revenge and we will be aiming to extend our winning run against them.

There are a few changes in the Shelford team this week and we have been working on our attacking options in training. The boys are excited about this fixture and are looking forward to continuing our run of improved performances since the first game of the season. Discipline is key for us. If we can limit the penalty count against us, then we will be a much more difficult proposition for the Barnes collective.
