Shelford 1st XV play their next London League 1 fixture away at Barnes on Saturday, October 6th. Directions to the ground can be found on www.barnesrfc.orgKick off at 3pm.
Skipper, Alex Birkby, says that the team are still very positive about the season despite losing a hard fought match against Richmond, at the Davey Field, last Saturday. Barnes, like Shelford, have a 50% record, for wins and losses, so a close encounter is anticipated with a winning result important for both clubs. The lads need your support for this match much more than England need you watching them on TV and, besides, you can record the World Cup to see in the evening. What a double header! |
