Shelford Under 11's attended the Chichester International Mini Rugby Series 2010 from 1-2 May.
17 players went on tour to the tournament this weekend. It was a typical bank holiday weekend with wet and windy conditions. Our tour shirts were kindly sponsored  by Shelford Feast www.shelfordfeast.co.uk 

On Saturday we played 3 games. The players all played very well with great forward play and some exiting backs play.

With the weather getting worse heavy rain and strong winds it was a tough day in front of Shelford with 5 games to play. The boys put on a brave face in the conditions and played there first game.

With all 8 games played Shelford had 18 points which was good enough to give them 3rd place out of 9 teams . With strong opposition all day and only conceding 4 trys in the whole tournament, Shelford were only beaten by the 1st and 2nd place teams so a good show by Shelford.
   A great tour was had by all a very tired team came home with a proud 3 place trophy.
