Saturday sees the Development squad travel to Hertford to take on the 2nd XV who are top of the league below us which we expect to be a tough encounter. It is a slightly dissapointing end to what has on the whole been an excellent season with a top three finish in the league securing potentially a third straight promotion in three years. It has been particulalry pleasing to see so many of the players from the development squad performing well for the 1st XV and with run throughs with the colts proving very tough we look forward to another great crop of home grow talent next season. We also have the added incentive of potentially being in the same league as the auld enemy Cambridge next season as they try to restart their development team. Many thanks must go to Rory and Reesy who have done a fantastic job coaching and managing the team over the past two seasons, with Tim and Lindsey making some invaluable contributions as well.
