Sadly due to the recent light dusting of the white stuff we are currently facing the possibility of coming face to face with our worst nightmare. The 'S' word is rearing it's ugly head and an afternoon wandering round the Grand Arcade is our punishment for living on an island with a temperate climate (all those time wasters in Copenhagen could be somewhere else doing something useful).

Perhaps it's time for a season half time report from the social end of the club. Firstly I'd like to thank the club officials (Rory in particular who I think actually sleeps in the club house - has anyone seen him go home ?) Then to all the players who have turned out to play - to all those who didn't and woke up at Addenbrooke's on a Saturday morning with a bike seat inserted where it doesn't belong. Next year I will not allow any late cry offs without a note from your mother. We also hope to win a game or two next year, can you imagine how hard it is getting battered every week and still coming back for more. To quote Winston Churchill, "Success is going from one defeat to another without losing enthusiasm"
Thanks lads for the first half of the season and looking forward to the second half.
