Debating the best team ever to play rugby.  (In my imagination)

1. Fran Cotton; 2. Sean Fitzpatrick; 3. Jason Leonard; 4. John Eales; 5. Colin Meads / Willie John McBride; 6. Jean Pierre Rives ; 7. Michael Jones; 8. Bill Beaumont / Zinzan Brooke

9. Gareth Edwards/ Joost van der Westhuizen

10. Barry John / Mark Ella

11. Jonah Lomu / David Duckham

12. Mike Gibson / Jerry Guscott

13. Phillipe Sella / Brian O'Driscoll

14. David Campese / John Kirwan

15. JPR Williams / Serge Blanco

Now bring on the advice. I'm a back so I didn't really look at what the forwards were doing so I've not got so many opinions. I've tried to spread my choice around the various civilised parts of the world (Australia !!) I know on average that the Kiwis have had the best team at any one time but this is purely by position and cannot allow for the different levels of fitness and commitment to the game. Doctor JPR was a perfect example of the essence of the old game. Thanks to Gareth in the gym for reminding me of players I'd forgotten.
