After a slow start, Shelford produced a superb second half display to return from Bristol with all the points for the second time this season. A slick back row move at the start of the second half resulted in Gough crossing for Shelford's second try, which he converted. With the tide seemingly in their favour, Shelford missed a series of midfield tackles to allow Bridgewater outside half, Matt Richards, to cross for a fine individual score. Then Shelford entered their purple patch, which saw Shingai Chiwanga, Ed Mills and Aki Lea score to seal the win and secure their first 5-point haul of the season. |
