Shelford Development vs Peterborough Lions 2nd XV (H)

2:30 KO1:15 Meet  

Despite Readingensians crying off due to "unavailability" we have managed to secure a fixture for Saturday against Peterborough 2s. They are an ambitious club whose first team boast a number of loan players from the old enemy Cambridge. The development squad roller coaster chunters on - some changes have been made this week and a good turn out last night at training (shame the same could not be said for Tuesday!) was punctuated by a sharp run through that will hopefully translate into a good performance on Saturday. With a number of players returning to the fold we should be full of confidence going into the game and look forward to getting back to scoring lots of tries at home and playing some good rugby. All those who are not making the journey to deepest darkest Somerset for cider and skittling and first team rugby will be more than welcome to cheer on the development squad at Davey Field on Saturday.
