Preview: After a fragmented training week due to the absence of coach John Rees who has been working hard to keep the team focused, the squad pulled together Thursday and were looking sharp in the run through. There were some excellent performances last weekend against a strong Worthing side and we were unlucky not to come away with a win. Crucial for Saturday will be the need to close out the game should we get ahead and we must be ruthless in finishing off the opposition should the opportunity arise. The Squad is not greatly changed for Saturday and will no doubt be strengthened by the return of Jamie French as well as the introduction of a larger and stronger bench.  Portsmouth will no doubt bring a strong side travelling with their first team and we must be focused on spoiling their bus trip home. With both teams looking for their first win it is sure to be a hotly contested game and we hope to give the home crowd something to cheer about.
