CAMBRIDGESHIRE CUP FINAL 

Wisbech 5 Shelford 85 

As the scoreline suggests this was a fairly one sided contest although full credit to Wisbech as they kept playing till the end but there was a big difference between the two sides. We never really got to play a structured, patterned game but a win was all we needed to finish the season the way we have been saying for sometime by winning the league and adding two cups. It took us a bit of time to cross the try line but once we did we kept going and scored fourteen tries in total (Dave Archibald, Clem, Richie(2), Andy (2), Childers, Matt, Chalky (2), Worthers (2) and Will Green (2) with Andy converting 8. 

This season has been tremendous, the spirit within the side and the ability to use a fairly settled squad has meant that we have developed well as a side and stands us in good stead to build on this next season although without your current captain as this is my last report as I hand over the reigns to Andy Daly and hang up my boots on a real high.
