From the start, the Shelford pack dominated both in the tight and loose play as Cambridge had difficulty in stopping the back row pairing of Sam Tovo and Aki Lea. It was a great game from the whole team, plus very promising signs from the the Development Squad players who can push for 1st team rugby next season.

Another cup for the Club and with the Development squad winning their league & the Eastern Counties Junior Cup Final, plus the under 17's & Colts enjoying exciting cup runs this really caps an excellent season.

For those that wish to have a fun afternoon, the 7's tournament starts at the Club on Saturday 26 April 2008 at around 1 pm. With sun forecast, bring the family to watch some rugby, enjoy the barbeque, have a few drinks or let the kids have fun on the bouncy castle.

If not, we hope to see you all next season when the objective is to win London 1 league
