The 2007/08 season has started with the appointment of our new head coach, John.  John has brought new aspirations, ideas, enthusiasm and motivation to the squad; this competitive and yet enjoyable atmosphere has already started to reap its rewards throughout the pre-season training that has taken place. 

We have set a number of goals this season, including finishing in the top 3 in the league and becoming more professional in outlook, attitude and image. This, combined with an established and proactive committee, is providing a driving force to implement our vision of our Ladies' Team new ethos.

Shelford RFC Ladies Team is currently in Championship Midlands 2 division.We are always looking for new players - age, speed or fitness does not matter and previous rugby experience is not required. 

If you are unsure about playing rugby then come along and watch one of our matches (see your fixtures list) and/or come along to one of our training sessions where full training will be given by the coaching staff, if required.

The Ladies squad train from 7-9pm Wednesday and Thursday and play their matches on a Sunday.
