 This week the Development Squad start their defence of the Eastern Counties Cup with a trip away to Mersea Island. Last week was a much improved performance away to Haywards Heath and the team remains loosely unchanged with just a couple of absentees through unavailability or injury so we should be able to continue where we left off. It is important that each game we learn from the week before and improve week after week as there are no easy fixtures this season whether in the league or the cup. We expect this game to be a tough match but the belief and spirit within the team is good so hopefully we can return on Saturday with a win.
