A win is a win but a disappointing performance.

Despite a belated kick off whilst we waited for the opposition to arrive in full we started brightly and went 7 – 0  up with a try from Andy Wallace and converted by James Worthington from the corner. Then we fell apart, did not play as a team and lost control of the game. We trailed at half time by 12 – 7. The second half was much of the same as we never really got going but tries from Gareth Young, Clem and George Andrews put us 26 – 12 up. We need to work on a lot in training and get back to how we have been playing so far this season if we are to get more wins in this league. Overall everyone walked off the pitch on Saturday knowing that the performance was not up to scratch but it is a league win and I suppose if you still win when playing poorly that is not such a bad thing but roll on next week where we need to raise our game substantially.
